K-Buildings offer clear span widths from 24’ to 100’ and sidewall heights from 8’ to 20’. By combining this design flexibility with an extensive list of options, each building can be customized to ideally suit the intended purpose. The steel mainframe and wood purlin and girt design ensure a very cost efficient building while offering superior strength and longevity.
Elgin Service Center has been involved in the rural construction business in Northwest Ohio since 1972. The early years were primarily devoted to providing farmers with on-farm grain storage and handling equipment. As farms and equipment began to change and increase in size, a need developed for new structures to house the larger machinery. This led to the evolution of the K Building, a building system that uses steel main framing for superior strength and wood purlins and girts to keep the costs in line with the competition.
